|---|---|
| 约 meeting | Meeting request — thesis direction (week of 14 July) |
Brief update: experiment results + next steps |
Request: 1-week extension on milestone draft |
Question on reviewer comments — 15 min advice? |
Draft paper for your feedback before [conference deadline] |
Would you have 20–30 minutes in the next fortnight to discuss my research plan? I'm flexible on timing and happy to work around your schedule.
Quick update: I finished the baseline experiments on dataset X. Results are mixed — I'll bring plots to our next meeting. No action needed from you before then.
Subject: Weekly update — literature review + experiment plan
Dear Professor Webb,
I'm writing with a brief progress update since our last meeting.
Done: I reviewed papers on LLM agents and drafted a one-page experiment plan (attached).
Next: I'll run the agent baseline on our main benchmark by next Friday.
Ask: When you have time, could you confirm whether I should prioritise tool-use evaluation or multi-agent coordination first? A short reply is enough.
Thanks for your guidance. Cheers,
Weijun Huang
I'm running about five days behind on the candidature review draft due to illness. I can submit a complete version by Friday 18th if that works for you. Please let me know if you need it earlier and I'll prioritise.
I'm choosing between approach A (faster, narrower) and B (slower, stronger story). I'd value your preference before I invest another month on implementation.
Just bumping this in case it got buried — happy to simplify the ask if timing is tight.(避免连续多封「reminder」同一天轰炸)

| You must read this today. | When you have a chance, I'd appreciate feedback on section 3. |
| I don't understand your last email. | I want to make sure I understood — did you mean I should prioritise experiment B first? |
| Sorry sorry sorry for bothering you. | Thanks — I know you're busy; a short pointer would be enough. |
Could we discuss this in person?

| 结构 | subject line, specific ask, deadline, attachment |
| 场景 | meeting request, extension, update, feedback |
| 语气 | brief, polite, bump (follow-up) |
